Thursday Morning
Not too bad to start off the day! This was 2 miles outside. I'm going to try and do this again tomorrow morning! I also got to work about 45 minutes early today. So instead of sitting at my desk or in the car, I walked at work. I did .55 miles at work. Then another .25 for the walk into work and then .25 leaving work. So at work I did a total of 1 mile. That makes it 3 miles today!
I'm a bit behind the race training! I'm going to start next week on week 3. 8 weeks until the half marathon! Tomorrow I have to do my best to get in 4 miles. If I can do that and then about 5 on Saturday or Sunday, then I'm not so far behind.
I also think September I'm not going to weigh myself. I seem to do it every day or every other day and it just upsets me. I can't seem to get out of the 280's. I want to get get down to 270's really soon. When I see that I'm going back up, I get upset. I need to be happy with the over all picture. I started off at 340 and now I'm down to 285. That's not back in the over all picture. What I see is more the smaller picture. I have been in the 280's for about 6 months, maybe more. Maybe with training for the 1/2 marathon, I can drop a few more pounds. I don't like running much on the treadmill at home, it's boring. I have gone to the park with the family and did the walk outside today. I need to keep walking to get use to the hills around here. The half will be very hilly.
Well, I guess that's all for now. My girls are now both in school. Just have to wait 2 more years and the youngest will be in school full time. I can't believe how much they have changed. Seems like they are growing up so fast! Hope I can be healthy to stay around and watch them grow to wonderful young ladies!
